This release adds intelligent duplicate contract detection to help teams avoid duplicating work, along with new clause options and improvements to special conditions management.
Potential duplicate detection on Preflight
For firms with multiple users and higher volumes, Curia now provides an additional layer of duplicate detection to prevent rework. After document processing, Preflight compares the extracted address and page count against recent uploads to identify contracts that may have already been reviewed.
- Shows filename, upload date, uploader name, and review completion status for each potential match.
- View button opens the existing review in a new tab for quick verification.
- Warning appears only during Preflight, before you commit to starting a full review.

Note: This feature identifies potential duplicates only. A full review of the document should still be undertaken as subtle changes between versions cannot be detected.
New clause options
Two new clause options are now available in the Clause library (Settings→Library) and are disabled by default. Accounts wanting these additional clause can activate them.
- Purchaser Indemnity: Identifies clauses where the purchaser indemnifies the vendor against loss arising from purchaser default.
- Litigation Disclosure: Flags mentions of ongoing or potential litigation, court actions, or disputes affecting the property.
Additional updates
- Improved accuracy when classifying finance warranty and foreign acquisition clauses.
- Special conditions dropdown now shows all library clauses including those already added to the review, helping to identify duplicates.
